Finland just keeps on flying

In our seventh Power Rankings, Finland stays on top after its 5-1 quarter-final win over Denmark. Canada takes second place, while host Russia is third.
1.  Finland  Finland:  It’s hard to be humble – no, wait, it’s easy: we’re Finns
2.  Canada  Canada:  Winning quarter-finals...it really grows on you
3.  Russia  Russia:  Holy Ship!
4.  USA  United States:  Simply Auston-ishing
5.  Czech Czech Republic:  It’s the curse of Andy Roach
6.  Sweden  Sweden:  Nyquist trots sadly back to his stable
7.  Germany  Germany:  Yes, but our cars are nicer
8.  Denmark  Denmark:  We would have won if Barkov had coughed on Granlund
9.  Slovakia Slovakia:  Being number nine is good – if you’re Rocket Richard
10.  Norway Norway:  We still have the best trolls
11.  Suisse  Switzerland:  Next year, let’s try Federer on the PK
12.  Belarus Belarus:  Yay Russia! You’re like us, but bigger
13.  Latvia  Latvia:  Last time we made the QF, Patrik Laine was 11
14.  France  France:  Russia was tough on Napoleon too. (Too soon?)
15.  Hungary  Hungary:  When the ice melts, we’ll smoke you at water polo
16.  Kazakhstan Kazakhstan:  Solid tournament for Boydaweschenski
